On April 15 1989 , 24,000 Liverpool fans travelled to a football match. 96 never returned home.

The Hillsborough disaster occurred 25 year ago today. For decades, fans were blamed for the deaths of their family members and friends, and they were accused of stealing wallets from corpses. It was all lies concocted by the authorities—including elected officials—and spread by tabloids.
In the picture you see above, two young supporters of rival clubs—Liverpool and Everton—stand together to honor the memory of the 96 and to thank those who’ve battled for decades to uncover the truth.

I’m leaving for holiday in one hour and I really don’t feel well. It could be that I’m actually ill. Or it could be psychological because I know I saw someone who became ill yesterday. Or it could be tiredness. Or it could be anxiety. I don’t know which it is but I don’t feel well and I’m terrified

Not my favourite Passover. I love my family so much and I just want them all to be safe and happy and whenever someone threatens that I get really upset and worked up. They all tell me it’s not worth being so upset about and that we have to take some things with a pinch of salt and that it’ll all be fine and these things happen. And I know all of that is true but I can’t just sit and let it roll off of me when I know that despite not admitting it, something (someone) has upset my mum and/or dad. I can’t just not let that get to me.

Mum baked and I decorated this cake for our cousin’s 80th birthday

(It’s a gluten free dense chocolate cake with apricot glaze and ganache icing, quite similar to a Sacher torte but not exactly the same)

Just got an email confirming my offer of 2 weeks of work experience on BBC Watchdog this summer but I can’t do it because of my new job that I’m starting next week and honestly I just want to cry because I’ve been applying for BBC work experience for 5 years and have been rejected 7 years and now I’ve finally been accepted and I can’t do it )’:

A lady at the bus stop is having to change her kid’s nappy and he must be getting potty trained because he’s wearing pull ups and just before she took his trousers down the little boy announced “Everyone look the other way please!” and it was really cute and hilarious

Listening to Mika really loudly and thinking about the conversation my dad and I had last night about going on a trip to Tennessee in the not extremely distant future.

It’s all gonna be ok

Bye office
